Law of Attraction: Supreme Secret
Chapter 7: Caught in Fear
Nothing can hinder the ability to open the mind stronger than fear.
The fearless mind is a powerful and free force.
Rich people plan for four generations.
Poor people plan for Saturday night. — Gloria Steinem
What a fearless person can do is endless
and their success is self-evident.
Fear is buried deep in the unconscious.
In the realm of so many animals,
fear is a survival instinct;
The more evolved an animal
and the more complex its nervous system,
the more levels of manifestation of fear.
In humans,
fear has existed since we were born,
growing up with human life.
For example,
when a child forms the concept of aloofness,
when he realizes he is separate from other people
or from other phenomena
– fear will arise.
Emotions,
moods and aspirations bring even more fear.
We become afraid of not getting what we want
and afraid of having what we don’t want.
“The awakened person has no anger,
no desire.
When you have let go of all good and evil
– There will be no more fear.”- Buddha
Fear is the source of all stress and anxiety.
Renowned author Deepak Chopra said,
“The plagues of our time
– like heart disease,
cancer,
infections, addiction
– are all linked to stress.”
In fact,
fear,
with its consequent anxiety and stress,
is a major cause of heart,
liver,
and kidney disease,
high blood pressure,
gland dysfunction,
cancer,
anxiety,
and depression insomnia
and many other physical and psychological ailments.
Athletes understand the crucial role fear plays in their performance.
In the process of training,
weightlifters can always lift heavier weights in competition,
and the only difference in the two weightlifting times
is that when competing they carry
with them the fear of failure.
Football and hockey stars all say
they can easily hit penalties in practice,
but when the pressure starts,
their successful performance drops.
The visiting team understands the fear of the threat
of thousands of unfamiliar fans of the home team.
And so,
it is not difficult to understand
why the home team often wins.
Fear is so strong that sometimes
it alone is enough to guarantee victory.
If you can inject enough fear into your opponent,
you will win with little effort.
Your opponent will probably surrender
before the fight even starts out of fear.
Fear played a major role in America’s victory over Nazi Germany
in World War II.
Americans are an ocean away from their country,
they have no territory or people to lose.
This is a stark contrast to the fear and pressure
that Germans face when they put their homeland at stake.
No fear brings victory and fear guarantees defeat.

ASK OR CAUTION
Some people confuse fear with caution.
These are two completely different states of thought.
When you’re afraid,
you’ll be engulfed in fear
and lose all sense of self-awareness;
you won’t see the full extent of yourself
and be unable to properly care for yourself.
Being prudent means being deeply focused on our needs
in any situation that arises.
Usually we are afraid because we believe we will lose,
but the person who truly believes
that he will win is never careless.
If we fight a constant fear of defeat in every move,
our awareness and sanity will shrink.
If we fight bravely and carefully,
our minds will become sharp and victory is certain.
Why were American soldiers able to win the Second World War
and still lose the war with Vietnam?
A confused army,
constantly in fear of being taken
to a foreign land is a good field for fear to bloom
as an inevitable result of ignorance
as well as inadequate attention of the government generals.

TO FEAR TO STOP ME OR TO WISDOM TO STOP ME
Holding yourself back from doing something
or stopping someone out of fear can be unwise.
It’s clearly a poor choice,
and you’ll most likely suffer the result with fear in it.
If you have been taken advantage of by someone in the past,
you may decide not to help that person anymore,
but wisdom has made this choice,
not fear.
You’ll find that there’s a fundamental difference
between not helping that person anymore
for fear of a repeat of the bad situation,
and not doing so
because you’ve learned a lesson from it.
If you still feel like helping them
and have learned nothing from the afterlife experience,
the adverse outcome is likely to persist regardless of whether you choose
to repeat the mistake sooner or later.
You will be deceived again
because you lack the wisdom learned from your previous mistake.
But if you restrain yourself from doing something
because you know it’s not the right thing to do,
you’ve made a wise decision
and won’t suffer any consequences
for doing what you’ve learned is respectable.
If a wife abandons her husband
because they have marital problems,
she will not have to endure the situation of confusion
and fear if she is indecisive.
Fear makes life more complicated
When problems arise,
fear sets in and interferes
with your ability to see things clearly.
The problem will be like an unbreakable knot.
You have to focus on the present moment and untie this knot.
It is a fact that almost all of our fears are irrational.
Most of what we fear is unlikely to actually happen.
Fears are often emanated from everyday things
– an unexpected noise,
a siren on the street,
a troubled social situation…
They aggravate these trivial problems
and have a great impact on the mind state,
followed by our lives.
We only have some basic fears,
death and abandonment being the two biggest fears
that appear over and over to exaggerate
and distort things in ordinary life.
Take a deep look inside yourself
to identify the root cause of your fears
and work to overcome them.
Don’t let fear control your life.
The truth will set us free.
Our minds weave unbelievable stories that let our power take over.
We may not believe in ghosts,
but sometimes when we are alone in the dark
and something moves,
we suddenly feel afraid
because something seems to be lurking in the dark.
Why? Because wild imaginations blind us.
If we light the lamp,
we will see the truth clearly and no longer be afraid.
The black shadow of thinking in the guise of truth is what is truly terrifying.
People with a shining understanding can see the real truth
and they understand
that there is nothing to fear anymore.
**************************
LET THE LIGHT LIGHT UP AND FOLLOW THE FEAR
The way to overcome fear is to find out its causes.
We are afraid
because we cannot see the truth clearly in that situation.
To combat the fear,
do what you would do
when you think you’re haunted:
turn on all the lights and see what’s going on.
Light is the ally of truth
and it will free you from fear.
Another easy and effective way to deal
with your fear is to change the story in your head.
There is no need to think
or worry about going to the dentist for a decayed tooth.
Thinking about it only makes things worse.
Think of something else;
The brain can only work on one problem at a time.
**************************
ASKING CREATE YOUR CHARACTER AND LIFE
If you’re superstitious
and believe that you shouldn’t open an umbrella
while you’re at home,
you’ll probably really feel that doing so will bring you bad luck.
This happens
because you have kept that superstition deep in your subconscious
and let this mishap get over you.
Good seers don’t peer into crystal balls
and make predictions,
they focus on your unconscious
and give hints about the future.
Fear will create your destiny.
People who are afraid of being alone
and marry to get rid of that fear will bring negative points to their marriage.
For example,
a wife who is afraid of being alone may become paranoid
and think her husband is having an affair.
So she might check her husband’s wallet
and mobile phone for evidence of secret relationships.
These actions make the husband feel pressured
and lead to conflict in the family.
This woman, just because of her fear of loneliness will make
that fear come true
when her husband can no longer tolerate her behavior.
People who have been in a car accident,
especially with severe physical or mental trauma,
are often afraid of driving.
Thom Yorke, the lead singer of the British band Radiohead,
was in a car accident when he was young,
and since then he has been very afraid of cars.
He wrote many songs about this fear.
The truth is that if people like
Thom can’t get over their fear of driving,
they shouldn’t get behind the wheel again
because of this fear
– and the painful psychological picture
they’ve built seems to be re-imagining lead to other accidents.
Divorced people fear
that their next marriage will be as unsuccessful
as the previous one
and so they are unwilling to look for a new one.
It is easy for them to repeat old mistakes
because this fear will set their destiny.
We have to be very careful
when trying to do something
that we have failed and fear appears.
If you’re in this situation,
remind yourself often not to make the same mistake again
and understand that fear can make it happen.
If you can remove fear from your mind,
you will find yourself loving yourself and others more.
You will be more confident,
stable and happier.
The boaster often looks for approval;
they act out of fear that they have nothing worth bragging about.
A miser is afraid of wealth.
Fear lurks everywhere,
creating undesirable personalities
and they can also lead to mental illnesses.
Psychologists or spiritual masters believe
that fear is the source of all negative emotions
such as anger and jealousy,
paranoia, moodiness,
greed,
restlessness,
lack of confidence and other weaknesses.
Best-selling author Neale Donald Walsch writes in Conversation
with God that people act on the two main emotional states of love and fear,
all shades of All other emotions are created from these two states.
When you are afraid of something,
your behavior helps to bring exactly what you fear into your life.
The more grudges in the heart,
the more things people will dislike.
So are fears and worries:
the more we fear,
the more we encounter them.
What we really should be concerned
with is our unconscious fear of death.
An afternoon of hunting
and fishing may seem like a good way to strengthen friendships,
but subconsciously
it will record the painful deaths of those slaughtered animals.
Buddhists believe that if we keep that image in mind at the time of our death,
the next life may be in danger.
This is especially true if cognitive thinking perceives these events
as pleasurable while the fear of death is present in our unconscious.
When we’re worried or scared,
our thoughts run fast,
blood rushes through our capillaries,
our nerves tense,
and our hearts race.
Sometimes such physical symptoms remind us of what happens
when someone puts on a spectacular show,
like an athlete in the most dramatic part of a major competition.
But the opposite is true.
We burn that much life energy for no reason,
like pressing the gas when the car is in zero.
If you suddenly shift into gear,
it will lean forward
and it is very easy to have an accident.
Action based on fear is often difficult to control
and the possibility of severe consequences is very high.
Furthermore,
if we keep holding on to the fear of something that happened in the past,
we will end up stuck in dark corners
with the car moving in reverse;
The wheel is still spinning,
but it’s not going anywhere.
“Evil deeds seem sweet to fools
As long as it doesn’t bear fruit.
But when the fruit is ripe,
Fools will suffer all the pain.”- Buddha
Hopefully you can reflect on the role fear plays in your life
and realize that it is an obstacle
– in fact the biggest obstacle
– preventing you from succeeding.
Having an analysis helps you see the whole picture of fear.
Most people can step over a narrow board over a small ditch.
Anyway,
the worst that can happen in this situation
It is just getting your shoes wet
if you accidentally fall.
But if this plank is crossed over the roofs of two skyscrapers side
by side and you have no choice
but to step on it,
that’s a whole different story.
One misstep and you will die.
We just need to perform the same action
as stepping over the gutter.
The truly successful are those
who are unafraid to aim higher as the context changes.
They were sure to succeed even
before they took the first step.
One way to conquer fear is to do your best
without fearing the things that haven’t happened yet.
Planning yourself for retirement is a good thing,
but envisioning your entire doomsday scenario
for your future is a whole different story.
Live in the present and make the best of today.
“I am not allowed to be afraid.
Fear kills thought.
Fear is the part of death that will destroy everything.
I will face it.
I will let it pass through me, through me.
And when it’s gone,
I’ll do an endoscopy to see its path.
Where fear has passed,
there will be nothing left.
Only I remain.” – Frank Herbert
Car owners often observe
and realize the same problem is
that a certain part of the car will fail
as soon as the warranty period expires.
A deep-seated fear of that calamity will visit them
and make it happen.
Humans fear death,
danger and accidents
which means they will spend a ton of money on insurance companies.
This doesn’t mean you shouldn’t buy insurance;
Buying insurance is wise,
but fear is not.
Fear blinds us to what to do in situations that arise.
It reduces the need to strive for success.
This fact along with the decline
in physical health gives you an idea of the role fear plays in your path.
In fact, Franklin D. Roosevelt was right when he declared:
“The only thing we have to fear is fear.”
Everyone knows that being the top is hard,
but maintaining that level is even harder.
It’s like when you’re standing on top of a mountain
where it’s easy to stumble if you take a wrong step.
Experts say that instead of succumbing to this feeling of uncertainty,
you should choose to keep climbing,
never looking down and fighting with yourself.
In doing so,
you will be less afraid
and will never feel that the mountain is out of reach you.

Chapter 7: Top Secrets
Clinging to Fear
Fear is a major obstacle to all achievements in life.
When you have overcome it,
the opportunity for each person is immeasurable.
When you fear something,
you send a profound message to your unconscious
and as a result the things you fear will come into your life.
Don’t let your mind get caught up in mythical fears about
what might happen in the future.
Just focus on the present
and let tomorrow come on its own.
Quite innocuous situations can become a big deal if fear is present.
Be careful but don’t be afraid.
Use your awareness and intelligence to think,
speak,
and act rationally and in accordance with your goals.
Regular capacity awareness practice helps you identify the cause of your fear,
seeing things as they are.
And then the fear will disappear.
If you don’t find a way to make money while you sleep,
you will work until you die. ― Warren Buffett
