7 habits of successful young people!
Habit 1: Have a positive attitude
March 6th
I am a source of strength
This is the key to implementing other habits and also the reason
for this habit to be mentioned in the first place.
Habit 1 says,
“I myself am the source of all strength.
I am the direction of my life.
I am responsible for my own happiness or unhappiness.
I am the pilot of the ship of fate,
not another passenger.”
March 7th
There are two types of people in the world:
Positive, proactive people:
Those who are always responsible for everything
and actively create their own circumstances.
Negative, passive people:
Those who only know how to blame,
and always wait for the situation to happen to them.
March 8th
Positive or negative… it’s your choice
Every day you and I have a hundred opportunities
to choose a positive
or negative attitude
How many times has a person crossing the street caused you to brake hard?
What should you do then? Alarm?
Get angry and stop causing trouble?
Or do you just keep going?
The choice is yours.
March 9th
Negative people often choose behavior based on impulse.
Like a soda bottle,
if life shakes them a few times,
the pressure increases and the cork falls off.
March 10th
Positive people choose to behave based on perception.
They always think before they act.
They know they can’t control what happens,
but they believe they can decide what to do.
March 11st
Unlike negative people filled with gas,
positive people are like water.
You just shake it freely and nothing happens:
no bubbles, no bubbles, no pressure.
Positive people always know how to control themselves
March 12nd
You can tell the difference between active,
active people and passive,
negative people by the language they use.
Negative language:
“That’s who I am.
I’m used to that.”
What they really mean is:
I am not responsible for the way I act.
I cannot change.
I was born like that.
Notice how negative language has stripped us of our personal power.
March 13rd
When you’re in a passive state,
it’s like you’ve given someone the remote control of your life and said,
“Hey, control me when you like.”
On the contrary,
the positive language will have the same effect
as putting that remote control in your hand and like that,
you are free to choose the channel you want.
March 14th
Negative language:
I will try
I’m used to that
I can’t do anything
I must
I can’t
You make me unlucky all day
Better you say:
Positive language:
I will do
I can do better
Let’s consider all the possibilities
I choose
Maybe there’s a way
I won’t let you make me unlucky
March 15th
There are some people who contract what I call the “victim virus”.
Perhaps you have seen it.
People infected with this virus believe that
everyone else is at fault
and that the world owes them something.
I love Mark Twain’s quote:
“Don’t always say the world owes you.
Life owes you nothing.
Life is already like that.”
March 16th
A friend of mine was unfortunately infected with this virus.
His complaints bore me:
“I could have played better,
but the coaches were trying to force me.”
I was about to catch the ball,
but some guy stopped me.”
In the guy’s mind,
the problem is always “out there”.
He never realized it was his attitude that was the problem,
and the only thing holding him back was himself.
March 17th
In addition to seeing themselves as victims,
those who react negatively also:
Vulnerable.
Blame someone else.
Get angry and say things that they later regret.
Or whine or whine.
Passively wait for things to come to you.
Change only when required.
March 18th
An active, positive person is the type of person:
Quiet, not easily offended.
Take responsibility for what you do.
Think before you act.
Always actively find a way to create the situation they want.
March 19th
It is true that it is easy to succumb
to negative emotions,
just as it is easier for people
to lose control than to maintain self-control.
But it’s important to remember that you don’t have to be perfect.
There really is no such thing as a completely positive
or a negative person,
which is probably somewhere in between.
So you have to build the habit slowly.
Just make a small change each day
and you will see great results.
March 20th
We can only control one thing:
our attitude to life.
What happens when we always lose time worrying,
thinking about things that we cannot control?
It feels like we’re the victims of all sorts of problems.
Over time you will become dependent on the opinions of those around you,
and then, you will lose your own strength.
March 21st
Life always has challenges
and then you have to be in control of your attitude.
Every time we encounter a “step back”,
see it as an opportunity
to turn defeat into victory.
March 22nd
Let’s Be A Agent Of Innovation
Because you belong to the group of positive people,
you can prevent bad habits
Come and build yourself good habits.
You yourself have to become a good person
to set an example for your children later.
March 23rd
There is always a hidden strength in yourself,
that power will help you overcome the events that “hit” your life.
If used, that power will help you become an agent of innovation,
creating a new life for yourself as well as for those around you.
March 24th
Proactive, positive people know how to take responsibility
for their own lives and always think in the direction they can do,
like the comparison table below:
March 25th
To achieve your purpose in life,
you must become proactive.
Many people see this as becoming domineering,
aggressive,
or unpleasant.
But you are wrong,
that is you are very enthusiastic,
showing your determination.
March 26th
George Bernard Shaw,
the English playwright who has studied the effectiveness of thinking can do,
observes:
“People often blame life circumstances.
Personally, I don’t believe in life circumstances at all.
The people who can make progress in this world are those
who actively seek out the situation they want.
If they can’t find it,
they will create the situation themselves.”
March 27th
If someone offends,
what force will keep you calm
so you don’t react in ways you’ll later regret?
For starters, you can press the pause button.
Yes, press this button to life like
you press the button on a TV remote control
(if I remember correctly,
it’s in the center of your forehead!).
You will definitely make better decisions.
March 28th
Once you’ve paused,
use the four tools of awareness,
conscience, imagination,
and will to help you make better decisions:
Perception: objectively consider one’s own thoughts and actions
Conscience: listen to the voice of your heart
and know what is right and wrong
Imagination: foresee the possibilities that are about to happen
Will: to have the power to make choices
March 29th
In everyday life,
we can use or ignore those four tools.
But keep in mind that the more you use them,
the more powerful these tools become
and the more positive reactions we get.
Conversely, if not used,
they will make us tend to react negatively by instinct,
rather than acting according to human choice.
March 30th
Step by step using four human tools into action
If someone irritates you,
respond with friendly gestures.
Think about how many times you use negative language such as:
“You make me…”,
“I was forced to…”,
“I can’t…”
Get out of your comfort zone,
ask someone what time it is,
raise your hand in class,
or wear a funny shirt.
March 31st
Continue to use the four tools in each of your actions:
At the next party,
take the initiative to get up
and introduce yourself to people you don’t know.
When you receive a grade that you think is unfair,
find your teacher to review the score together.
If you get into a fight with your parents or friends,
be the first to say sorry.
