Dare to Think Big
10. Habits of Action
There is one thing that leaders in all fields acknowledge:
there is always a shortage of talented,
professionally qualified people for key positions.
Indeed, many of the top positions are still open.
As explained by one director,
there are many people who are close to meeting the standard,
but they always lack an element to be successful.
It is the ability to get the job done perfectly with optimal results.
To be a leader,
whether in any field:
running a business,
selling high-end sales, working in science, the military,
or working for the government,
you need to know how to behave motion.
Leaders when looking for candidates
for a key position want to find out:
“Can he really work?”,
“Will he pursue the same goal?”,
“Is he acting to get results
or is he just a guy who just talks?”
All of those questions are asked
for a single purpose:
to find out if the person is a man of action.
Just having great ideas is not enough.
Even if it’s just an ordinary idea,
if we pursue and develop it,
it will certainly be better than an excellent idea but forgotten
because it was not put into practice.
John Wanamaker,
who built his huge business from nothing,
always thinks that:
“No one can achieve anything by just sitting and thinking”.
Think about that.
Whatever we have in this world,
from satellites,
skyscrapers to baby food,
all are ideas that are pursued to the end
to turn into reality.
When you get to know people
whether they’re successful or not,
you’ll find that they belong to one of two groups:
the active group and the passive group.
We can find a rule for success
by studying these two groups of people.
Active people are people of action.
He always pursues his ideas and plans to the end,
always taking action to complete the plan.
The passive person is the one who “does nothing”.
He procrastinates,
always procrastinating on work
until he finds an excuse not to
or cannot do it,
or until it is too late.
The difference between the Active
and the Passive is shown in countless small everyday incidents.
The Proactive person carefully plans a vacation,
then gets to work on it.
The Passive man plans a vacation,
but he procrastinates,
procrastinates.
The Initiator feels the need to send a card
to an acquaintance to celebrate his or her success.
And he sent the card right away.
In a similar case,
the Passive will find some good reason to delay,
and the card will never be written.
The difference between these two groups of people
is also reflected in the great works.
Proactive people want to set up their own business.
And he didn’t hesitate to shake hands.
The Passive also wanted to start his own company,
but he immediately found a “reasonable” reason why he shouldn’t.
The Active Man, despite being 40 years old,
decided to try his hand at a new field,
and he plunged into experimentation.
The Passive Man thinks the same way,
but he hesitates,
then convinces himself that it’s best not to do anything.
The difference between the Active
and the Passive is reflected in every gesture and action.
The Proactive person always gets the things he wants done,
he gains confidence,
maintains mental stability,
is independent,
and earns a better income.
The Passive cannot get what he wants,
because he never takes decisive action.
As a result, he will lose confidence,
destroy his ability to work independently,
and eventually,
will have to accept a life of mediocrity.
Proactive people always plan to act.
Passive people always plan to procrastinate.
Everyone wants to be an Active Person.
So get into the habit of taking action.
Many passive people never take action,
because they wait until all conditions are absolutely perfect
before taking action.
There is no one who does not want
to have absolutely favorable circumstances,
but anything human is not absolute,
perfect.
Therefore, waiting for 100% perfection is just a hopeless wait.
Here are three common cases that show different ways
of responding to “living conditions”:
******************
Case 1: WHY IS HE STILL NOT MARRIED?
Mr. A is an educated, nearly 40-year-old man,
currently working as an accountant and living alone in Chicago.
One of his great wishes is to get married.
He wants love,
connection,
a home,
kids,
and a steady job.
How many times has A prepared to get married,
even once there was only one day left
until the wedding day.
But every time he prepares to get married,
A discovers something is wrong with his fiance.
(“Fortunately I detect it in time,
before committing to a terrible mistake!!!”.
That’s what he used to say.)
So, to be sure he would marry the perfect wife,
A drew up a four-page “standard” containing conditions
that the finance had to agree to before they got married.
That agreement was typed very carefully
like a legal document that covers every issue in life that A can think of.
In it, there is a condition related to religion:
which church they will go to,
how many times a month,
how much money they will donate.
Another part of the text deals with children:
how many children they will have
and when they should have children.
In more detail,
A also stipulates how they will make friends,
their fiancé’s job position,
where they will live or how their income will be spent.
Finally, he devoted half a page to talking about specific habits
that the girl had to give up or practice.
This clause includes habits such as smoking,
drinking, makeup,
entertainment, etc.
When the bride to be sees the above terms,
how her reaction will be,
you can guess.
She sent it back,
with a note:
“I just need a marriage,
no matter the ups and downs of life.
The rest makes no sense to me.”
The criterion to judge a successful person is not the ability
to eliminate problems before they happen,
but to accept and find ways to overcome difficulties
when they actually arise.
We need to understand the limits of perfection
so that we don’t wait in vain,
to quickly get to work.
Whatever the case,
we will find a way to solve it,
this advice is always useful, practical.
*******************
Case 2: WHY BUYS A NEW HOUSE?
Every time we have to make an important decision,
we often have to struggle
– to act or not to act,
to do or not to do.
Here is a specific example of a young man named B who decided
to act and received a great reward.
B is like millions of other young people,
nearly 30 years old,
married and has one child, average income.
B’s family lives in a small apartment.
They want to buy a new,
bigger house with more space,
fresher surroundings,
and more space for the kids to play in later.
But the hope of buying a new home fell into a deadlock,
because of the costs to pay.
One day, while writing a check to pay next month’s rent,
B grew disgusted with himself.
The rent alone is almost equal to the monthly expenses
for a new house.
B discussed with his wife:
“What do you think we will buy a new house next week?”.
His wife exclaimed in surprise,
“What’s wrong with you?
Why such an unusual joke?
You know we can’t.
We don’t even have enough money to cover those expenses.”
But B remains adamant:
“Hundreds of couples, just like us,
plan to buy a new home ‘someday’,
but only half of them make it through.
There is always something stopping them.
We will have to buy a new house.
Right now I don’t know how I will make money to buy a house,
but we will make it.”
The following week,
they found a home that they both liked,
not grand but beautiful,
for a few tens of thousands of dollars.
The only obstacle is how to turn a few tens of thousands of dollars.
B knows he can’t borrow in the usual ways,
because if he does,
the debt burden will grow,
but he also has nothing to mortgage for the home loan.
When we are determined,
we will definitely find a solution.
B suddenly had an idea.
Why not contact the contractor
and sign a personal loan contract
for a few tens of thousands of dollars?
At first, the contractor was completely indifferent to the offer,
but B patiently persuaded him
and he agreed to sign a contract
to sell the house on installments to B.
B only has to pay a few hundred dollars a month
in both capital and interest. .
Now, all B has to do is make a few hundred dollars a month.
Husband and wife B sat down together to calculate,
find ways to cut spending,
save nearly hundred dollars a month.
But still not enough.
Then B comes up with a new idea.
The next morning,
he went to the boss of the company
to explain what he was doing.
The owner was very happy to hear that
he was planning to buy a new house. B said,
“Sir, to be able to buy this house,
I need to save a few hundred dollars more every month.
I know he will give me a raise if he deems me worthy.
What I want right now is
for you to give me an opportunity to earn extra income.
In this office, there are still some things
that can be done over the weekend.
Will you give me a chance to do those things?”
B’s boss was impressed with B’s sincerity and ambition.
He asked B to work ten hours overtime every weekend,
and B and his wife were able to move into their new house.
1/ The determination to act stimulated B’s thinking,
helping him find a way and take action to achieve your goals.
2/ He was much more confident.
In other similar situations,
that confidence will make it easier for him to act.
3/ B has given his wife and children a life they deserve.
If B hesitates, waits until he is eligible,
it is likely that B’s family will never have a house of their own.
*******************
Case 3: C WANT TO START MY OWN BUSINESS, BUT…
The case of C is another example that illustrates
what happens to great ideas
if we procrastinate,
wait until the conditions are right,
before embarking on that idea.
Not long after World War II,
C got a job in the U.S. Postal Service’s Customs Department.
At first C loved his job very much.
But five years later,
he began to feel dissatisfied with the confinement,
with regular hours,
low wages and a seniority-based promotion mechanism
that made the opportunity for promotion quite rare.
Then he came up with an idea.
During his work,
he gained a lot of experience
to be able to become a successful importer.
Why don’t you start a company
that specializes in importing cheap gifts and toys?
C knows there are many importers,
although very successful,
but do not understand this business as thoroughly as he does.
Ten years have passed since C came up
with the idea of opening his own company,
so far he is still just an employee of the Customs Department.
Why so?
Very simple.
Every time when C was about to act,
something happened that prevented him
from taking action.
Lack of money,
economic crisis,
having children,
worries about instability,
future risks,
trade barriers,
and countless other reasons he gave
as reasons for procrastination,
his procrastination.
C has made himself a passive person.
He wants everything to be perfect,
before taking action.
Since things are never perfect,
he never acts.
Here are two things you should do
to avoid making the huge mistake of hesitating,
waiting for all conditions to be perfect
before daring to take action:
*******************
1. Be ready to accept the obstacles and difficulties ahead.
Any job involves risks and uncertainties.
Imagine, you want to drive from Chicago to Los Angeles,
but because you are nervous,
you hesitate to wait until there are no problems along the way:
don’t go wrong,
your car doesn’t break down,
nice weather,
no risk.
Think about it,
if you are so afraid,
when will you be able to hit the road?
Definitely never!
Of course, before you prepare for the trip,
you will have a clear plan,
carefully check the car and a variety of other things
to minimize the risk.
But you won’t be able to completely eliminate the risk.
*******************
2. Be ready to overcome difficulties and obstacles when they appear.
The measure of a person’s success is not in his ability to eliminate problems
before taking action,
but in his ability to find solutions
when faced with difficulties.
Whether in work or home life,
you should not be overly anxious;
When facing difficulties at any time,
find a suitable and timely solution.
We cannot buy insurance
for every problem in life.
Do not hesitate,
whenever any idea appears in your head,
act quickly and turn that idea into reality.
About five or six years ago,
a talented professor friend of mine told me about her plan
to write a biography of a famous person decades ago.
His ideas are “above all great”,
lively and interesting.
That professor knows what he wants to write,
he has the skill and ability to complete it.
That plan will surely bring him fame,
money and most importantly,
he will find satisfaction with himself.
Last spring when I saw him again,
I accidentally asked him if he had finished the book
(it was a mistake on my part,
because I had reopened the wound in his heart).
No, he never started writing the book!
He seemed to have struggled for a long time to think of how to explain it.
Finally, he said, because he was too busy
and had many other ‘responsibility’ to complete,
he could not start yet.
In fact, what my friend did was just pick his ideas up in his head.
He allowed negative thoughts to take hold.
The friend realized that in order to complete the book,
he must have worked very hard,
even sacrificed a lot of things.
In his heart,
he understood why the plan couldn’t work.
Ideas are very important.
That’s clear.
In order to creatively develop anything,
we need ideas.
Success does not come to those who have no ideas.
But don’t forget one thing,
just an idea is not enough.
Ideas to increase profits
or simplify administrative procedures are only really valuable
when turned into reality.
Every day,
thousands of people bury their own valuable ideas
because they are afraid to act.
In the end,
the ghost of those ideas lingered and haunted them forever.
Keep the following two things in mind:
*******************
First, make your ideas valuable by turning them into reality.
No matter how brilliant your idea is,
if you don’t take action,
you won’t achieve anything.
*******************
Second, turn your ideas into reality and achieve self-fulfillment.
Many people say that the most boring phrase is the one
that starts with “If only..”.
Every day you may hear someone say things like,
“If I had started a business seven years ago,
I would have been very successful now,”
or “I had a hunch that things would turn out like this.” so that.
If only I had done something.
” When you can’t turn a compelling idea into reality,
you’ll feel frustrated and sad.
But once the idea becomes reality,
you will feel fulfilled and happy.
Take action to eliminate fear and build confidence.
Please keep the following in mind.
Action will help incubate,
nurture and develop your self-confidence;
Sitting still will make the fear grow.
To fight fear,
take action.
If you want to increase your fear,
wait and delay.
Once, I was explained by a skydiving instructor:
“Actually, skydiving is not difficult.
It is the moment of waiting to jump off that scares people.
On the way to the skydive site,
I always do my best to help the trainees feel that time goes by faster.
Many students,
because they thought too much about
what was going to happen,
expressed panic and worry.
If we can’t help them overcome their fear,
they won’t be able to become paratroopers.
The more they delayed the jump,
the more scared they became.
Even for professionals,
waiting makes them nervous.
According to Time magazine,
Edward R. Murrow,
the nation’s top broadcaster,
is often nervous to the point of sweating,
even irritable before each recording.
But as soon as he started shooting,
all his fears disappeared automatically.
Many veteran actors experience the same feeling.
They all say:
the only cure for stage fright is to go on stage.
The warmth of the auditorium is the antidote to fear and anxiety.
Many doctors use neutral,
harmless pills for patients
who insist on taking a pill to get to sleep.
For a lot of people,
just taking a pill
(they don’t know that the pill is actually a placebo,
so it doesn’t work) makes them feel much more secure.
Fear of something is a completely natural feeling.
But there are many ways we often use
to get rid of fear that actually don’t work.
I’ve seen many salespeople,
even the most experienced,
try to dispel their fear
by walking around the room repeatedly
or drinking more coffee,
but to combat the fear yes,
any fear is action.
Are you hesitant to make a phone call to a new customer?
Just call and the fear will disappear.
The more you procrastinate,
the more difficult it will be.
Are you afraid to go to the doctor for a health check?
Just go and the anxiety will quickly disappear.
Chances are nothing serious will happen to you,
and if it does,
you’ll know how serious the condition is.
If you keep putting off getting tested,
you will feel anxious
until the fear is so great that it makes you really sick.
Are you afraid to discuss an issue with your superiors?
Just go to your boss and discuss,
and you will see how easily any problem is solved.
Build confidence and dispel fear with action.

START YOUR MIND MACHINE
An aspiring but not yet established young writer confided to a friend one day:
“My problem is that days and weeks go by
and I can’t write a single line.
You know, writing is creativity.
You need inspiration.
Your soul will guide you…”.
Yes, writing requires creativity,
but listen to another writer explain the “secret”
of why he writes so many great works.
“I used the ‘mind-force’ technique,” he says.
I had to finish before the deadline,
so I couldn’t wait for my soul to guide me.
I have to stimulate my own mind.
The method I used was
to force myself to sit at the table,
take out a pencil,
and start writing mechanically.
I scribble anything down.
I put my fingers and arms to work,
and sooner or later,
even before I realize it,
my mind will think properly.
Of course, sometimes unexpected ideas pop up
when I don’t intend to write.
But such ideas are rare.
Most ideas are the result of disciplined work.”
Action follows action.
That is the law of nature.
Nothing can start on its own,
not even mechanical machines that can only we use it every day.
Your house can be heated automatically,
but you must choose (ie act) the temperature you want.
Your car also only shifts gears automatically
after you’re at the right speed.
The same principle applies to actions of the mind.
You will have to put numbers on your mind
to make them think automatically.
A young sales executive
of a home delivery company explained his ‘mechanical’ method
of training employees.
“There are many difficulties
for door-to-door salespeople.
Anyone who has ever done this knows.
Knocking on a customer’s door first thing in the morning
is extremely difficult,
even for veteran employees.
He was worried that he would receive rude,
grumpy words from guests.
So, quite naturally, he would procrastinate in the morning.
He’ll have an extra cup of coffee or two,
visit and chat with a co-worker,
or do a bunch of other miscellaneous things so he doesn’t have
to knock on customers’ doors early in the morning.
This is how I train them.
I explain that the only way to get started is to get started,
don’t think twice.
Don’t delay getting started.
Do this:
Stop the car.
Take samples.
Go to the door.
Ring the bell.
Laugh.
Say ‘Good morning’
and start stating the purpose of your visit without much thought.
Start calling that way,
and you’ll break the initial awkwardness.
By the second or third call,
your mind will be sharper,
and your pitch will be more effective.”
A humorous writer once said:
the hardest thing in life is getting out of a warm bed,
and into a cold room.
According to him,
the longer you sleep in,
the harder it will be to wake up,
the more uncomfortable it will be.
Even in this simple situation,
the deliberate act of tossing the blanket
and putting your feet on the floor,
instantly dispels the discomfort.
The point of view is clear.
The successful people in the world never procrastinate,
don’t wait for their spirit to lead them;
they encouraged themselves.
************************
Try these two exercises:
*******************
1. Start doing in a “mechanical” way chores around the house,
which are simple but sometimes uncomfortable.
Instead of thinking about unpleasant things,
start doing it right away
without much hesitation.
Perhaps one of the most uncomfortable household chores
is washing dishes.
My mom doesn’t feel exceptional either,
but she automatically does this so she can quickly finish it
to do other of her favorite things.
Every time we left the table,
she immediately washed the dishes
(we are grateful to her for this sacrifice).
In just a few minutes the pile of dishes was washed neatly and cleanly.
Isn’t that “mechanical” way,
the pile of dishes has been solved,
eliminating all the usual hesitations?
Do it today:
Pick the one thing you don’t enjoy doing the most.
Then, without hesitation,
hesitation or apprehension,
let’s get to work right away.
It’s the best way for you to get the housework done.
*******************
2. Then use this method to generate ideas,
draft plans,
solve problems,
and do things that require intense concentration.
Instead of waiting for your soul to be inspired,
sit down and encourage yourself.
Refer to the following method:
use a pencil and a piece of paper.
If I were to choose between a beautiful,
carpeted,
beautifully decorated,
soundproofed room,
with a pencil and a sheet of paper,
I would always choose pencil and paper.
With a pencil and a piece of paper in hand,
you can link your mind to any problem.
When you write an idea on paper,
you focus all of your attention on it,
because the human mind never allows us
to think of one idea and write down another at the same time.
When you take notes,
you “write” your mind.
Tests have proven that you will remember something much longer
and more accurately if you write it down.
When you successfully practice the pencil-
and-paper technique for intense concentration,
you can think even in the loudest,
most distracting cribs.
When you want to think,
take notes,
or doodle.
It is a good method to stimulate your brain.
“Right now” is the magic phrase that will bring you success.
Tomorrow,
next week,
later,
sometime,
someday is often synonymous with “never”.
A lot of dreams never come true
because we often say to ourselves,
“I will start someday”,
instead of saying,
“I will start now, right now”.
Let’s take the example of saving money
that everyone knows is a good thing.
But not many people plan to invest
and save somewhere.
A lot of people plan to save this and that,
but only a few actually save.
Below is the process of capital accumulation of a young couple.
Bill’s after-tax income is $1,000 per month,
but Bill and his wife’s total spending,
Janet, is also approximately $1,000 a month.
Both topics want to save money,
but there are always reasons that interrupt
why they can’t execute the plan.
How many times have they promised themselves:
“We will save when we get a raise”,
“When we pay off our installments”,
“When we get through the rough times”,
“next month”. , “next year”.
In the end, Janet got bored
because time and time again they still couldn’t save.
She said to Bill: “Brother,
are we going to save money or not?”.
Bill replied, “Of course we do,
but I also know we can’t save up right now.”
But this time Janet was determined.
“We have discussed a savings plan,
but we have not saved any money
because we always think it is not the right time, not yet.
Time to think we can.
Yesterday I read an article that said that
if we save about $100 a month,
15 years from now we will have $18,000
plus $6,000 in progressive interest.
The article also analyzes: save first,
spend later.
Let’s start saving 10% of your income,
maybe at the end of the month we have
to have crackers and milk but we should,
must and will continue to do so.
Bill and Janet were a little short on first few months,
but they quickly adjusted to their monthly budget.
Now, they even become very interested in “cost control”
to practice savings.
Want to send a message to your friends?
Do it now.
Do you have a new idea that could make your business better?
Present it now.
Follow Benjamin Franklin’s advice:
“Don’t leave today’s work for tomorrow.”
Remember, doing things now can help you achieve great success,
but if you do it someday,
at some point,
you are afraid you will only fail.
Once, I visited an old friend.
She just attended a management meeting.
When we met,
I realized that she seemed to want to share something with me.
“You know, I called the management meeting this morning
because I wanted to hear
from everyone on some of the proposed policy changes.
So what do I get?” “Six of our managers attended the meeting,
but only one had input,” she said.
Two other people also spoke,
but only repeated my words.
At that time I felt as if I was talking to people who were inactive.
Honestly, I can’t understand what they’re thinking.”
She continued: “As you can see,
I kept hoping they would say something practical,
and let me know what they were thinking.
After all, those policies directly affect them.”
My friend did not receive any help during the meeting.
But if, after the meeting,
you linger in the hall for a while,
you will most likely hear her associates say:
“I wanted to say that…”,
“Why didn’t anyone suggest… ”,
“I don’t think..”, “We should continue…”.
Passive people often never speak up in meetings,
but do talk after the meeting is over,
when what they say no longer changes anything.
They were suddenly incredibly lucid
when everything was… too late.
Sales executives always look forward to hearing feedback.
Those who always hide,
or are afraid to show themselves will only make themselves disadvantaged.
Make it a habit to “speak your mind”.
Every time you give an opinion,
you make yourself a lot stronger.
Express yourself confidently,
with constructive comments.
We all know college students often have
to work very hard to prepare for several theses.
For that purpose,
student Joe spent the evening focusing on his studies.
But Joe’s evenings often went like this:
Joe was about to start studying at 7 p.m.,
but that night he ate a bit more than usual,
so he decided to take a break from watching TV.
But his “a while” turned out to be an hour long,
as the tv show was quite engaging.
At 8 o’clock, he sat down at his desk,
but got up right away,
because he remembered his promise to call his girlfriend.
The call took another 40 minutes (he hadn’t talked to her all day!).
Another incoming call cost him another 20 minutes.
On the way back to the desk,
Joe was fascinated by table tennis again.
So another hour passed.
Playing ping pong made him sweat,
so he took a shower.
Then after that, he needed something to snack on.
Playing ping pong and taking a bath made him feel terribly hungry.
So an evening with study plans drifted away.
Finally, at 1am, he opened his book,
but he was so sleepy that he couldn’t concentrate on the subject anymore
In the end, he surrendered completely.
The next morning,
he said to the professor:
“I hope you give me a little rest,
I am tired from studying until 2 am because of this test.”
Student Joe couldn’t get to work,
because he spent too much time preparing for action.
He’s dry too.
You must be the only victim of the “over-preparedness” disease.
The salesman Joe,
the manager Joe,
the skilled worker Joe,
even the housewife Joe,
all got into the habit of jumping into small talk,
taking breaks,
sharpening pencils,
reading books and newspapers,
tidying up the desk,
watching TV
and a whole bunch of other things.
But there is a way to break that habit.
Tell yourself, “Right now,
I’m qualified to get started.
I can’t get anything if I keep procrastinating.
Instead of spending time
and effort on ‘preparing to do’,
I will start taking action.”
A director of an engineering tool factory said
to a group of sales managers:
“What we want more than anything in our work is
to have many people working together to create
Generate great ideas and turn them into reality.
There is no job in the production
and construction system that our school cannot do better,
achieve more real efficiency.
I don’t mean to say that the work we do is not good.
Even so, we are doing very well.
But, like every growing company,
we need new products,
new markets,
and better ways of doing things than before.
We must rely on people
who are proactive and have many initiatives.
They are the ones who bring success to the team.”
Initiative is actually a special kind of action.
It’s doing something,
that you don’t have to do,
that is valuable.
An innovative person always has the opportunity
to receive a high level of income in all fields and industries.
The director of marketing research
for a pharmaceutical company told me how he got the position.
His story is a great example of the power of initiative.
“When I was a sales agent five years ago,
I had an idea,” he said.
I discovered we lacked information about potential customers.
I speak out about the need for market research to everyone here.
At first, no one listened to me,
because the manager didn’t see its importance.
I’m really obsessed with the idea of market research.
Therefore, I did not hesitate to ask my superiors
for permission to prepare a report
within a month on ‘Drug Market Information’.
I gather information from every source I can find.
I persevered with my work,
and it wasn’t long before the managers
and the various salespeople felt
they were really interested in what I was doing.
A year later,
I was excused from my day job to focus on research and development of the idea.
He added: “Everything else just evolved on its own.
By now, I have two assistants,
a secretary and an annual income that is 3 times higher than 5 years ago.”
Here are two special exercises,
aimed at developing the habit of “brainstorming”:
**********************
1. Be an aggressive person.
When you see something you believe you should do,
do it right away.
Do you feel your company should create a new department,
produce a new product,
or expand in some other way?
If so, campaign for it.
Do you feel the church in your area needs renovation?
Advocate for that.
Or do you realize your kids’ school needs better facilities?
Please campaign for donations.
You can count on this:
even though your campaign starts with only one person,
if your idea is really compelling,
you will soon get support from everyone.

2. Be a volunteer.
Each of us has at least once wanted to volunteer
to do something but ended up giving up.
Why so? For fear.
It’s not that we’re afraid of not being able to get the job done,
but we’re afraid of being ridiculed,
being seen as overly active,
wanting to interfere in everything,
being seen as a brag, bragging about getting a promotion,
we’ve done it makes you hesitate to not want
to “take the lead” in the vanguard.
The desire to be recognized,
to belong to a certain community is completely natural,
justifiable.
But ask yourself:
“Do you want to be accepted by a certain group of people,
a group of people who laugh,
mocked by hidden jealousy,
or a group that works together
to make things better?”.
You can clearly see which is the right choice for you.
Pioneers are always the standouts.
He received special attention from everyone.
And most importantly,
when he volunteered to work,
he gave me the opportunity
to demonstrate his special abilities
and aspirations.
So volunteer to do special work.
Think of the key people you know in every business field,
the military,
or the area you live in.
Do they have all the qualities of an active person,
or just a passive person?
I firmly believe, ten people who are always actively doing things,
all ten are active people.
Those who stay out of things,
are always procrastinating,
will not be able to lead.
Reverse
On the other hand,
those who are always proactive will find people to work for them.
Everyone puts their trust in those who know how to act.
They take it for granted
that action-loving people know what they’re doing.
I’ve never heard someone praised just
because “he doesn’t bother anyone”,
“he doesn’t do anything”,
or “he always waits until someone else tells him to what to do?”.
Are you like that?

DEVELOP ACTION HABITS
Practice these important points:
1. Be an action person.
Be a person who knows how to do things,
not an outsider.
2. Never wait until all conditions are perfect.
That will never happen.
Let’s pick up
Accept the obstacles you may face in the future,
and find ways to deal with them.
